To provide economic alternatives to the Cumbrian coal mine, we produced the following:

  1. Our Green Investment Plan Cumbria Report outlined how Cumbria could become the first climate positive county through a credible financing strategy, supporting transformative net zero projects that respond to the needs and priorities of local people.
  2. The Annex includes information on some Government grants and further information on our nature proposals.
  3. The Natural Capital Baseline Report for Cumbria by eftec and countryscape (June 2021).
